The Details
Wow, where do we start, John & Matthew had SUCH fantastic ideas for their 1930's inspired wedding day and we were so excited to bring them to life.
The process started with individually prepared vintage telegram save the dates, complete with vintage stamps and a bespoke monogram all delivered in telegram stamped envelopes.
How best to follow these than with bespoke vintage 'Picture Post' magazine invitations filled with 1930's inspiration, details of the day, bespoke 'stepping out fashion' illustrations to inspire guests outfits, and a hand drawn map to plot out the day's destinations.
With Matthew being in the travel industry vintage travel became a running theme for the day itself, and their table plan was the central focus of this. Individually named handmade suitcase favours were created where guests found their name and destination (table) on the tag then took their 'luggage' to their seat. All inspired by original vintage Imperial Airways memorabilia and graphics.
Such a pleasure and such fun to work on and with!
